I own a 1982 Panasonic DX-4000 with all original components. It has several thousand miles on it. Is it worth upgrading? Does it have any value?
If the frame is still in good shape and you enjoy riding it then it would certainly warrant doing some upgrades to. Early DX-4000 models do have some collectible value as they are fairly rare finds these days but that all depends upon condition and originality. Most sell for $200-300 from what I have seen.
